I have just returned from a wonderful couple of days in Llangollen, where Bryn did preform at wednesdays Tsunami event at the pavilion. I was fortunate enough to get tickets at the last minute (thanks to friends in high places) and I was so pleased, the pavilion was exceptionally cold but Bryn made it all worthwhile.
The evening lasted about 3 hours with performances from the Royal Welsh Regiment, Cor Meibion Rhos,(who were outstanding.) Anne Williams-King, Mary Lloyd Davies and Cor Meibion Froncysyllte. All were really great and the event raised approx. 23,000 for the disaster.
Bryn came on last and you could tell that he was the one everybody was waiting to hear, there was excitement in the air. He was fantastic, even though he was obviously still recovering from his chest infection, he sang beautifully, five songs, to include 'If I can help somebody' and 'Stars'(my favorite) accompanied by Rona Jones on piano. It was a real treat, to hear him sing, and he makes it look so easy.
From a girly point of view, he is ALL MAN!! I was definitely a very happy girl!
