If you happened to be in Vienna in September, Bryn's Dutchman will be screened outdoors for free. Tonight is Bryn debut as The Flying Dutchman at Wiener Staatsoper. Don't forget the 12 September performance will be streamed live online.

In the months of April, May and June and also September, selected opera and ballet performances from the opera house on Ringstrasse are broadcast live on a 50 m² LED video screen outside the opera house. Five remote-controlled HD cameras ensure top quality, and the opera house’s own director of photography is responsible for the final outstanding product. The audience can thus enjoy the performances in a relaxed atmosphere in the open, and naturally with free admission.

Here's a nice picture from the rehearsals...by none other than the conductor, Yannick Nezet-Seguin:

Here is a synopsis of The Flying Dutchman.
It is possible to watch tonight's performance online. This will be Bryn's last performance of the Dutchman in Vienna. At least for now.
